Prepare for Your Year-end Process with Our Final 2016 Lunch-N-Learn Webinars

As 2016 comes to an end, your Sage 100 ERP solution gets no time off. But you don’t want to miss holiday parties and vacation days.

Still, you must navigate tax forms, year-end reporting, filings, and document sharing with accountants, customers, business partners, vendors, and suppliers. In addition, you must download state tax rate changes and capture 2017 tax tables. And don’t forget to close out all the Sage 100 modules in the proper order!

We can help you make and organize your year-end to-do list. Ultimately Sage 100 will show off its ability for efficiency and resource optimization.

Start year-end processing by backing up your company data. Next, close your Sage modules in the correct order. This ensures all Sage 100 applications with data dependencies properly share information. For example, Sales Order Processing can post to Inventory Management, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. Therefore, prioritize its closing before Inventory Management, Accounts Receivable or General Ledger.

What’s more, some modules send information to and receive information from others. In one such case, Job Cost can post invoices to Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Receivable can post invoices to Job Cost. Therefore, transactions in both modules should be processed prior to closing either.

Sage has scheduled the Q1 2017 Q1 Tax Table Update and 2016 Interim Release Download for availability the week of December 14. The eFiling and Reporting (Aatrix) year-end update should update automatically on December 12. You must install all applicable product, 2016 IRD and Aatrix year-end updates before processing W2, ACA or 1099 forms for 2016.

Sound like a lot? Let ISM walk you through the process to ensure a stress-free experience. Register for either the December 8 (8:30 AM PDT) or December 15 (11:30 AM PDT) webinar.
