Make Tax and Year-End Processing Easier in Sage 100
If you’re running the Accounts Payable or Payroll modules of Sage 100, you already know that the time has come for new Tax Table Updates (TTU) and year-end processing downloads (IRD). What’s with the Tax Tables?
One of the reasons that Sage 100 is a great tool for business owners is that the Sage team works hard throughout the year to keep you up to date on your tax charges and payments. We know taxes aren’t the most exciting thing in the world, but messing up your taxes can be pretty exciting – in the wrong way.
That’s why Sage releases Tax Table Updates (TTU) quarterly, helping you stay in compliance at all times. The newest 2017-Q1 TTU updates are available for the following Sage 100 versions:
- 2016 Update 1 (5.30.1)
- 2015 Update 3 (5.20.3.0)
- 2014 Update 7 (5.10.7.0)
Get Your Tax Table Updates Now
The 2017-Q1 Tax Table Updates (TTU) are required for federal tax filing, as well as filing in some states. Make sure you install your TTU after processing your W-2 forms for 2016, and before processing your first payroll of 2017.
You must have a current Sage Business Care plan or Subscription plan to download these updates.

Additional federal and state tax updates will be added to the system as they arrive, so check back throughout the month of January to ensure that you have the latest TTU for your area.
What Are Interim Release Downloads?
The Year-End Interim Release Downloads for Sage 100 (IRD) are required to update your tax forms and program changes for your Accounts Payable and eFiling and Reporting modules and processes to meet 2016 requirements.
Note that you do not need to install the IRD for Sage 100 2016 because the program updates are already included with that version of the product. Your updates have already been incorporated for you.
For Sage 100 versions prior to 2016, the IRD updates are available for the following versions:
- 2015 Update 3 (5.20.3.0)
- 2014 Update 7 (5.10.7.0)
You must have a current Sage Business Care plan or Subscription plan to download these updates.

Important Notes
- The 2016 IRD and 2017-Q1 TTU will be the last updates released for Sage 100 version 2014 (5.10). Contact us at ISM if you need to discuss your upgrade.
