In March 2014, Sage standardized their support and service hours (including phone and chat) for the majority of Sage products across North America to 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. As an exception, they continued to offer extended support hours for Sage Business Care Gold plan customers of Sage ERP X3, Sage 100 ERP, Sage 300 ERP, and Sage CRM.
In our ongoing effort to provide the best care possible, Sage analyzed the number and timing of inbound support calls for the past 12 months. The results showed a far greater demand for customer support during the standard hours and in fact, very few customers called during the extended support hours.
Therefore, in order to have more analysts available to help customers when they need us most, Sage is discontinuing the extended support hours for Sage ERP X3, Sage 100 and 300 ERP, and Sage CRM effective February 2, 2015.
